HIDIVE has announced that they will exclusively stream the upcoming fantasy series Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! in Fall 2025.

Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! is based on the fantasy light novel and manga series by Shichio Kuzu. It will premiere on HIDIVE in October 2025. The series will be directed by Kaoru Yabana, with writing by Chabo Higurashi and production by Studio A-Cat.

Fans who want an early look at the series will be in luck as HIDIVE will debut Episode 1 during Anime NYC 2025. Anime NYC 2025 will take place from August 21st to the 24th in New York City.

John Ledford, President of HIDIVE, stated the following in a press release:

Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! is set in a world where a goddess bestows each person with a class and skills that will determine their life. Despite being born the son of a Sword Princess and an Archmage, Arel has not received a class or skills. So, he must rely on his own determination and natural talents to become a new kind of hero.

HIDIVE is a subscription-based anime streaming service that offers simulcasts, fresh dubs, uncensored titles, and a curated collection of classics. Owned by AMC Networks since, it focuses on delivering a full-tilt fan experience to both anime enthusiasts and newcomers.
