In a partnership with Scuderia AlphaTauri, Bandai Namco is bringing the Gundam franchise to the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The partnership includes a sponsorship that will see decals of the RX-78-2 Gundam and XVX-016 Gundam Aerial next to the drivers’ helmets on the headrests of the Scuderia AlphaTauri AT04s. There will also be a seven-foot Gundam statue at the event along with a unique custom-designed model of the RX-78-2 with exclusive Scuderia AlphaTauri decals and colors.
To commemorate this partnership a special promotional video has been released featuring Scuderia AlphaTauri driver, Yuki Tsunoda.
The Las Vegas Grand Prix will take place from November 16th to November 18th.
Gundam is a media franchise that follows an interstellar conflict involving mobile suits. The franchise includes the main series followed by numerous spin-offs along with video games and models (dubbed Gunpla). The original series, Mobile Suit Gundam, follows the One Year War between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon.
