Horror gamers are in for a treat. After a long wait and much anticipation, Invader Studios has announced the launch date for Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle. At the same time, a demo of the game will be available to download soon.
Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle is set to launch for all major consoles and the PC on August 30th. Gamers who want to try it out before the launch date could download the demo starting on May 11th. The demo will provide a sample of the story and a look at the improved gameplay mechanics.
The game will be a prequel as it follows Agent Dalila Reyes of H.A.D.E.S. who must investigate an outbreak at a secret government facility. Players will return to the 90’s with a new arsenal while also encountering familiar characters from previous game.

Daymare is a retro inspired horror survival that started as a fan remake of Resident Evil 2. The project was scrapped after the announcement of the remake. It was rebranded as a new title while also bring on several key developers who had worked on the classic Resident Evil games.
