From those who aimed for authenticity to those who added their personal flare, these are some of the cosplayers from Anime Expo 2023.
Cosplaying has always been a tradition at every fan convention but, to say “Anime Expo is no exception” would be an understatement. This is the largest anime convention in the world and so cosplayers want to come out in their best.
During the Anime Expo 2023 weekend, many were out in their best or favorite cosplay. There are cosplayers who are dedicated to bringing their favorite character to life. Others will add their own personal style or a special twist. Some cosplayers will go the extra mile to bring a joke or meme to life. For many, this was the weekend to debut their latest project.
Here is a collection of some of the many cosplayers that I got to meet and their amazing work at Anime Expo 2022.
