Crunchyroll has announced that classic episodes of the iconic detective series, Case Closed, are now available on the streaming service.

The first 42 episodes of the anime adaptation of Case Closed are now available on Crunchyroll. The addition of these episodes allows fans the chance to see how everything began. The series first premiered in 1996 followed by an English dubbed version in 2004 on Adult Swim.

Case Closed follows the adventures of Shinichi Kudo (who goes by the pseudonym Conan Edogawa). He was once a teenage detective until an encounter with a mysterious syndicate resulted in him be transformed into a kid. Now he is working to bring down this organization and try to restore his normal self. Outside of the US, the series is known as Detective Conan.
