Following a successful 2025 event back in March, USS Hornet Museum has officially announced the date for CarrierCon 2026.

CarrierCon 2026 will be hosted on the famous aircraft carrier from March 21st to March 22nd. This will also be the first time the convention will be a two day event, as past ones have been one day only. The event will feature panels, an artist alley, vendors, along with tours of the iconic ship. No guests or panels have been announced at the moment, but more information will be available in the coming months.

Attendees should be aware of the rules and dress code of the convention. This is due to limited space, and the USS Hornet is a US Historical Landmark that is under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service. Please plan your cosplay accordingly and do not bring items that will violate Federal Laws.

Tickets are currently not on sale, while registration for vendors, artist ally, and panels will be open in the future.

The USS Hornet is an Essex-class aircraft carrier that was in service from 1942 to 1970. It saw action in the Pacific Theater and was responsible for the recovery of the Apollo 11 space capsule. Today, she is a museum and a U.S. National Historic Landmark (Reference no. 91002065) while also being used as a movie set. The museum also hosts a variety of events that are either entertaining or of educational value.
