Campbell Con 2020 Cancelled

Campbell Con now joins numerous conventions that have cancelled their 2020 event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Originally set to take place on June 6th at the Circus Circus in Reno, Campbell Con 2020 has now been cancelled. The decision was made based on the advice of city and state officials due to the ongoing pandemic. However, the event will return in 2021.

Those who bought tickets in advance could have it rolled over for the 2021 event. Vendors also have the same choice or they could get a spot for California Republic Comic Con 2020. More information are given in the following post:

This now the second year in a row that Campbell Con has been cancelled. Campbell Con 2019 was set to take place in October until the Campbell Community Center unceremoniously cancelled their reservation of the venue.

This comes a week after the Western states (California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada) started to lift some of the restrictions. Numerous conventions have either pushed back their event to the late Summer and Fall season or deferred to 2021. Some have opted to host a digital event on social media.
