California Extreme organizers are advising Saturday guests to plan their trip accordingly due to the Leagues Cup match at Levi’s Stadium.
Levi’s Stadium will host one of the first matches of the Leagues Cup 2024 on July 27th, featuring the San Jose Earthquakes against C.D. Guadalajara. Because the stadium is located across the street from the Santa Clara Convention Center, California Extreme guests are advised to plan accordingly.
Organizers are unsure how bad the traffic will be and are advising guests to arrive early. Carpooling is also encouraged due to limited space at the convention center and the price of parking at Great America. The use of public transportation is also encouraged as the VTA Lightrail stops at Levi Stadium. Rideshares are also encouraged as there are designated spots in the area.
This is not the first time an event at Levi Stadium has taken place at the same time as California Extreme. Last year’s event took place at the same time as a pre-season game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos.
California Extreme is one of the largest showcases of classic arcade and pinball games in North America. The event brings together industry pioneers along with collectors of retro games and video game historians for one weekend. The 2024 event will take place from July 27th to July 28th.
