Bethesda has confirmed that future titles will be available for purchase on Steam.
As game publishers race to either develop their own distribution platforms or get their titles on the Epic Game Store, Bethesda has confirmed that they will be staying with Steam.
In a post that was made on March 25, Bethesda confirmed that future titles will be released on Steam. This includes DOOM: Eternal, Rage 2, Wolfenstein: Young Blood and Cyberpilot. They also confirmed that Fallout 76 will be made available sometime this year.
The announcement was made in the following Tweet:
The announcement has been welcomed by fans, especially with so many news regarding PC games being exclusive to the Epic Game Store. However a running joke in the praise was that Bethesda should not bother to bring Fallout 76 to the Steam Store.
However it was not made clear if future titles will be exclusive to the Steam or could gamers also pick them up at the Epic Game Store.
