Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind is one of the most influential anime films and fans will now have their chance to see it in the theater for one night. The Balboa Theater will be screening this classic as part of AniMonday.
AniMonday Presents ~ Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind will be a special screening of the hit anime film. The dubbed version will be shown on October 16th at 11am. The subbed version will be screened on October 17th at 7:30 pm. Tickets for the film are now on sale, via online.

The Balboa Theater is an independent movie theater located at 3630 Balboa St, San Francisco. They are known for showing indie films, classic tiles, anime films, and new releases. They also host several film festivals and special events throughout the year.
Based on the manga of the same name by Hayao Miyazaki (who also directed the film), Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind follows a princess who becomes embroiled in a conflict against a kingdom in a post-apocalyptic world. It was Miyazaki’s second film and it launched the careers of numerous industry icons. Among them were composer Joe Hisaishi and director Hideaki Anno.
