Anime fans who were thinking about checking out Anime Expo 2024 for one day will no longer have that option. Event organizers have announced that all one day badges have sold out.
The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA) has officially confirmed that all one day tickets for Anime Expo 2024 have sold out. This follows the Saturday badges selling out on June 30th and Sunday badges selling out on June 26th.

This announcement is only in regard to badges officially sold by Anime Expo. Passes can also be purchased on the second-hand market. However, be warned that fraud is a common problem with these third-party sellers. The SPJA has warned about the risks and is not responsible for damages incurred from these unofficial transactions.
At the time of writing, the only badges available for sale are the 4-day passes. However, those on the fence should act soon as Anime Expo 2024 badges are on the verge of selling out.
This is not the first time badges for Anime Expo have been sold out. Back in 2023 and 2022, all badges were sold out a few days before the event was set to start. In 2019, the 4-Day passes sold out while single-day passes were still available.
Anime Expo is the largest anime convention in North America and one of the biggest events in the industry. Organized by the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA), the event brings major leaders of the industry while inviting the fandom for an eventful weekend. The 2024 event will take place from July 4th to July 7th at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
