The MADE has partnered with MAGWest to host a one-night event that celebrates the intersection of video games and music.
MAGWest Mini @ MADE will take place on June 14th at the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment (MADE). Tickets for the event are now on sale. The event will feature local creators sharing their insight along with food and a DJ during the social hours.
There will also be a live performance by Ronin Op F and Bayokyo.
Ronin Op F is a breakbeat composer and game developer based in Berkeley. They are known for their electrifying performances and genre-crossing arrangements. He has also performed with other video game music groups like Kirby’s Dream Band and The Tiberian Sons.
Bayokyo is a Bay Area-based music collective blending anime and hip-hop storytelling. Their debut album First Flare Arc introduces a cast of lyrical warriors on a mythic journey through sound.
The Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment is a non-profit that works to preserve video game history. It works to ensure the preservation of classic video games and aspects of gamer culture while aiming to inspire the next generation. They are located at 921 Washington St, Oakland, CA.
MAGWest is the West Coast spin-off of MAGFeast, one of the largest video game music festivals. The event brings together video game industry insiders and composers, along with video game-themed performers. MAGWest 2025 will take place from August 8th to August 10th at the DoubleTree Hilton in San Jose.
