With 2022 promising to be a big year for the VR/AR community, the Augmented World Expo has announced their first keynote speaker. Unity CEO and industry leader, John Riccitiello will be a keynote speaker at the 2022 event.

John Riccitiello is a business leader with a long and successful career in the video game industry. He is currently the CEO of Unity Technologies, developers and licensors of one of the most popular game engines in the industry. Riccitiello had previously served as the CEO of Electronic Arts from 2007 to 2014, in which he oversaw the companies diversifying to other aspects of the games market. His work in the VR community has been defined by his role as an adviser for Oculus from 2013 to 2014.

Riccitiello will be joined by 400 other speakers with diverse backgrounds from leaders of the the industry. More speakers will be announced in the coming months along with details about the event. This includes the nominees for the Auggie Awards.

The Augmented World Expo is one of the largest AR/VR technology conventions in the world. The event brings together industry leaders and pioneers to showcase their work or knowledge. The USA 2022 event will take place from June 1st to June 3rd at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
