During GDC 2025, I got the chance to look at how Razer is growing its ecosystem to better serve developers and players.

During the 2025 Game Developers Conference, Razer Inc. showcased a range of upcoming tools for developers and players. These included AI-powered solutions designed to assist both groups, along with new security measures to keep bots out of their ecosystem. I had the opportunity to preview this new software alongside the developers making it possible.
During a special session at GDC 2025, I had the opportunity to preview WYVRN, Razer’s AI-powered ecosystem. During my session, I got to better explore elements of the Razer AI Game Copilot and Razer AI QA Copilot. At the same time, I got a look into how Razer is protecting its ecosystem and players from bots.
The session began with an overview of WYVRN and its capabilities. Eric Vezzoli, Director of Tech at Razer, and Oliver Quek, a Data Engineer at Razer, were present to guide me through the experience. The presentation covered the four core pillars of WYVRN in detail—Razer AI Tools, Sensa HD Haptics, Razer Chroma RGB, and THX Spatial Audio+. I was shown the key features of each pillar and how they help developers to create an unforgettable experience or enhance the gaming experience for the players.
After the presentation, I had a hands-on look at the Razer AI Game Copilot and Razer AI QA Copilot.
Razer AI QA Copilot is an AI-powered system that integrates with existing development software to support quality assurance. Its purpose is to boost efficiency and streamline the QA aspect of game development. It detects bugs, glitches, and other issues during a play session, automatically records them, and tracks existing problems. This allows the QA team to focus more on in-depth testing and to search for issues that have not been previously found.
Razer AI Game Copilot is an assistant designed to provide players with performance-based feedback. While a game is being played, it monitors and records the player’s actions, and then analyzes that data to offer suggestions for improvement. The guidance can be tailored for either someone who plays for fun or for the needs of an eSport player.
During my demo session, I had the chance to try out the AI Game Copilot while playing Black Myth: Wukong and Mortal Kombat 1. In Black Myth: Wukong, it helped guide me when I got lost and offered advice on what to prepare before a boss fight. During the encounter, it suggested specific actions and later provided feedback after I defeated the boss. While playing Mortal Kombat 1, it analyzed my combat style and recommended tactics to help improve my performance with the selected character in future matches.
The last part of the showcase was an inside look at Razer ID and how it will be used to combat online bots in multiplayer games.
Razer ID is a new security system that has been designed to protect gamers in their ecosystem from bots. When implemented, it requires the user to verify one time if they are a real person, and doing so will grant them access to play with others in either Razer events or while using Razer products. The plan is to partner with others to help better integrate it.
