Following its success on the Nintendo Switch, Front Mission 1st: Remake is now coming to additional consoles and the PC. Basically, mecha gamers are going to be eating good this summer. 

Front Mission 1st: Remake will launch on additional consoles and the PC on June 30th. It will be available for the PlayStation and Xbox consoles along with the PC. PC gamers could pick it up on either Steam, GOG, or the Epic Game Store. 

For those excited, a demo of the game will be available starting today. Plus, your save game from the demo will carry over to the full game when launched. 

Front Mission is a turn-based mecha JRPG that often follows conflicts between regional unions and economic blocs. The series is known for its rich storytelling along with its RPG rich gameplay. Players take command of a squad of wanzers (“walking tanks”) who they must command in battle. 

Despite being an iconic mech series, Front Mission was only released in Japan for the PlayStation. Front Mission 3 was the first title in the series to be released outside of Japan. 

Front Mission 2: Remake is set to launch sometime in 2023 for the Nintendo Switch.
