Anime fans of the East Bay are in for a treat as Faye Mata will be a guest at Comic Con Oakland 2026.

Faye Mata is an eSport champion, professional streamer, and voice actress. She is best known for her role as Aqua in KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! and Isekai Quartet. Her other major roles include Astolfo in Fate/Apocrypha and Yukako Yamagishi in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable. She also voices Princess Malty in The Rising of the Shield Hero.

Faye Mata will be one of many guests that fans could meet at Comic Con Oakland 2026.

She will be joining artist Justyne Gurley, Eisner Award-winning cover artist Dave Johnson, cartoonist Julia Wertz, and writer Jordon Morris, just to name a few. Addtional guests will be announced in the future along with details about the panels and special events.

Comic Con Oakland 2026 will take place from May 9th to May 10th at the Oakland Convention Center. It is a comic and anime convention that brings the East Bay community together for a weekend of fun.
