FanimeCon 2025 was a major weekend for cosplayers—not just for those from the Bay Area, but across the West Coast. This was the weekend that many had worked months to prepare with their latest cosplay or to showcase the updates they had made.

The cosplay scene during FanimeCon weekend has always been unique, as it’s the event where cosplayers premiere their latest creations or showcase their finest work. During FanimeCon 2025, many cosplayers showed off their finest or most beloved costumes. Some are deeply dedicated to faithfully bringing their favorite characters to life. Others infuse their outfits with personal flair or a unique twist. A few go the extra mile to turn a joke or meme into a clever cosplay. For many, this weekend was the perfect moment to debut their latest creative project.
