In the latest progress report, Kit9 Studios has announced that The Coffin of Andy and Leyley will expand to include a fourth episode.

According to Progress Report #6, the game was to conclude with Episode 3 having a variety of endings for the two branches. It was while adapting the master script that the development team realized that they wouldn’t be able to contain the full without a fourth episode.

No launch date has been set but the goal is still to have a full launch sometime in 2024. All updates will be included at no additional cost to those who already own the game. The major content releases will also result in a small price increase in the final game.

This announcement was followed by a new patch that fixed some minor bugs and typos.

The Coffin of Andy and Leyley is a horror adventure game that blends elements of a psychological thriller with those of a dark comedy. The story follows siblings Andrew and Ashley Graves trying to survive a quarantine by taking drastic measures. 

The game started as a project released on Itch.io before launching on Steam in Early Access.
