SacAnime Summer 2024 is a few months away but the guest list continues to grow with the inclusion of Xander Mobus from Persona 5.

Xander Mobus is a voice actor best known for his role as Ren Amamiya / Joker in the Persona series. This includes the Persona 5 game, spin-off titles, and the animated series. His other notable roles include Toge Inumaki on Jujutsu Kaisen and Motoyasu Kitamura in The Rising of the Shield Hero. Gamers will also recognize him for his role as Dagda in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse. He also voiced Michael Irving in The Legend of Heroes series and Tanzo Kubo in NEO: The World Ends with You.

He will be joining by voice acting legend Johnny Yong Bosch, Ray Chase from Jujutsu Kaisen, and Cherami Leigh from Persona 5. Also on the guest list are Erika Henningsen from Habin Hotel along with David McCormick and Melanie Zanetti from Bluey just to name a few. More guests along with details about the event will be announced in the future. Tickets for SacAnime Summer 2024 are currently on sale now. The hotel blocks for the event have also opened up and guest can reserve their room now.

SacAnime Summer 2024 will take place from August 30th to September 1st at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center. It’s one of the largest anime conventions in Central California. It organizes a series of insightful panels along with cosplay gatherings, musical events, and more.

If you can’t make it to the Summer event, there will also be a Winter event coming up in January 2025.

Persona 5 was originally released for the PlayStation 4 back in 2016 followed by Persona 5 Royal in 2019. Royal would later launch for all consoles and the PC in 2022. The game follows the Phantom Thieves of Hearts as they use their Persona to change the “hearts” of wicked people in power.
