Capcom has released a new video that presents an in-depth look into the world of Monster Hunter that is narrated by Daisy Ridley.

Welcome to Monster Hunter – Presented by Daisy Ridley is an overview of the in-game universe. Using original artwork along with cutscenes from past titles, you are presented with a look into the world of Monster Hunter. Some of the key points explored are the role of the hunters and how they play a vital role in preserving the ecosystem.  Other aspects examined are the relationship between humans and monsters.

All of this is to prepare players for the upcoming launch of Monster Hunter Wilds.

Monster Hunter Wilds is now available for pre-order. Fans will have the choice between the Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, or the Premium Deluxe Edition. Deluxe Edition will include the base game plus the Deluxe Pack. Premium Deluxe Edition will include everything from the Deluxe Edition along with Premium Bonuses and two Cosmetic DLC Packs.

Monster Hunter Wilds is the sixth main entry into the iconic game series. Players take on the role of a hunter deployed to the Forbidden Land by the Research Commission. Their mission is to hunt down the White Wraith and rescue the only village in the region.

Daisy Ridley is an actress best known for her role as Rey in the Star Wars series. She has played the character in the new film trilogy along with several video games and TV adaptations. Her other notable roles include the titular character in Ophelia and Gertrude Ederle and Young Woman and the Sea.
