NIS America has released the story demo and battle demo for The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon.
The story demo allows players to experience the Prologue of The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon. Van Arkride must work with Rean Schwarzer, and Father Kevin Graham as they are called to a Marduk training exercise that sets them on a collision course with the secrets at the heart of the world. The battle demo has players select from three parties to battle in the Grim Garten, a virtual reality service originally developed by Marduk that has since been hacked by Ouroboros.
The story demo is available now on PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The battle demo is exclusively available now on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon will see a global launch for the PlayStation and Nintendo consoles, along with the PC, on January 15, 2026. Players will once again take on the role of Van Arkride as he has been hired for another major case. As the people of Zemuria await the launch of humanity’s first foray into space, Van has been invited by Marduk to cooperate in a high-tech training exercise. This sets him and his agency on a collision course with the secrets at the very core of the continent.
The game is now available for pre-order with the option of the Deluxe Edition and the Limited Edition. The Deluxe Edition will include the base game, a mini art book, and a digital soundtrack. The Limited Edition will include the Deluxe Edition in a steelbook case, an art book, the official soundtrack, and an Acrykic Clock.
