The remake will feature an improved version of the original game, including its multiple endings. It will also include the classic soundtrack and a remasted version. Among the game modes will be the main campaign, Boss Mode, and Traning Mode.

Released for the arcade in 1998, The House of the Dead 2 was a horror-themed light gun shooter that took gamers on a terrifying adventure. A follow-up to the hit arcade game, it featured the same setup but in a different setting. It was highly praised by critics while also seeing a launch on the SEGA Dreamcast and PC in 2001.

The story follows AMS agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart, who are dispatched to a city to locate Agent G. Upon arrival, they discover the city overrun by the undead and Agent G critically wounded. Armed with the information he provides and their weapons, the agents must battle their way to the city’s heart to stop Caleb Goldman from unleashing the Emperor, a bio-organic super weapon.
