As the Game Developers Conference fast approaches, organizers have revealed the finalists for the 2026 Game Developers Choice Awards. These are the nominees selected for each respective category that stood out among the many titles that launched in 2025. The winners will be announced during the award ceremony on March 11th at 6:30 pm PT.
To no surprise, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 leads the pack with nominations in eight categories, including Game of the Year. Ghost of Yōtei follows with five nominees, Donkey Kong Bananza and Split Fiction with four nominees. Other titles nominated for the Game of the Year award include Blue Prince and Hollow Knight: Silksong.
