Bandai Namco has announced that Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remaster is in the works and it’s set to launch in May 2025.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remaster is set to launch for the Nintendo Switch and PC on May 22nd, 2025. This will be the game’s first launch outside of Japan and it will feature updated graphics, redesigned UI, new target lock-on mode, and English localization.

The story will allow players to fight for the Earth Alliance, Z.A.F.T, or Archangel. Each mission will be set during iconic moments featured or mentioned in the series. At the same time, players will have access to over 100 mobile suits. Check out the trailer to learn more about the game:

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED is the ninth Gundam series and the first set in the Cosmic Era (CE) timeline. In this era, humanity is divided between Naturals and Coordinators—genetically enhanced humans who live in space. This tension erupts into war between the Earth Forces and ZAFT, the Coordinators’ military. The story follows Kira Yamato, who is thrust into the conflict as a Gundam pilot when ZAFT forces attack his colony.

The original Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny was released back in 2012 for the PlayStation Portable in Japan only.

Gundam is a media franchise that follows an interstellar conflict involving mobile suits. The franchise includes the main series followed by numerous spin-offs along with video games and models (dubbed Gunpla). The original series, Mobile Suit Gundam, follows the One Year War between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon.
