FanimeCon organizers will be hosting an open house for the 2026 event this month and it will be an opportunity for the community to see what goes into planning the event while also signing up to volunteer. 

FanimeCon 2026 Open House will take place at The Guildhouse on February 22nd from 3 pm to 6 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend if they want to learn more about the con or if they want to volunteer. Check out this post for more details:

The open house allows the community the opportunity to learn what is being planned for the 2026 event. It also allows them to meet the FanimeCon leadership and learn about the different departments. The event also allows the departments of the FanimeCon team to recruit volunteers for the weekend.

FanimeCon 2026 will take place during the Memorial Day Weekend at the San Jose Convention Center along with the surrounding locations. More information about the event will be available in the coming months. This includes guests, cosplay gatherings, and panels. 

At the time of writing, registration has opened, while part of the guest list has been unveiled. The guest list at the moment includes designer Neant Glass, Vtuber Mint Fantome, writer Zack Davisson, and voice actor Khoi Dao. More guests will be announced in the future.
