In a surprise for classic horror fans and dinosaur enthusiasts, Capcom has surprised drop the Dino Crisis series on Steam.

The PC versions of Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 are now available for purchase on Steam. This marks the first time the series has become available on the Steam Store. Before, the PC versions of both games were only available on the GOG Store. To commemorate the launch, both games are also 50% off until February 26th.

Dino Crisis originally launched for the PlayStation in 1999, later receiving a PC release. The story follows Regina on a covert mission to locate Dr. Edward Kirk at a remote research facility, only to discover it overrun by deadly dinosaurs.

Dino Crisis 2 originally launched for the PlayStation in 2000, followed by a PC release. It sees the return of Regina, along with newcomer Dylan Morton. The sequel follows the pair having gone back in time after a failed science experiment sends an entire military base and nearby city back to the world of dinosaurs.
