Bandai Namco has unveiled a new trailer for Code Vein II that highlights the games character creation system.

One of the highlights of Code Vein was its robust and detailed character creation system that gave players the freedom to make their character as unique as possible. It was so detailed that for some time, there was a trend in which players would design their Revenant Hunters to look like iconic anime characters. Thus, this new trailer reaffirms the return of one of the best features of the first game.

CODE VEIN II – Character Creator Time-Lapse goes into detail about how players can customize their characters. It highlights the many features along with how players can make their character unique to them. You can watch the full trailer here to get an idea about the character creation system:

The game is now available for pre-order with the option of the Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, and Collector’s Edition. Deluxe Edition includes the base game, a Stylized Forma set, Early Access, a custom outfit pack, and the Expansion DLC. Ultimate Edition includes the content of the Deluxe Edition along with a Character Costume Set, a Digital Artbook, and a Digital Soundtrack. The Collector’s Edition includes the content of the Ultimate Edition along with a Lou MagMell Figurine, a 60-page physical artbook, and a metal case.

Code Vein II is the highly anticipated follow-up to the 2019 post-apocalyptic Soulslike game. It will launch on January 30th, 2026. It will launch for all major consoles and the PC. Code Vein was released back in 2019 and it was highly praised for its approach to the Soulslike genre, along with its detailed character customization.
