With the premiere of Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, Bandai Namco has made Char’s Counterattack once again available on GundamInfo.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack is set following the events of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Char Aznable has taken control of the Neo Zeon forces and plots to continue the work of his father in seeking independence for Spacenoids. To achieve this, he plans to divert the Axis asteroid into a collision course with Earth. This now pits him into a war with the Earth Federation and with Amuro Ray for the last time. The film also follows the rise of Hathaway Noa and sets the groundwork for the events of Hathaway’s Flash.

Char’s Counterattack is now available once again to watch for free on GundamInfo (the official YouTube channel of the Gundam franchise). Note that this is the subbed version of the film; you need to turn on the closed caption if you’re not fluent in Japanese.

The film had previously been available to watch back in 2022, but was removed sometime later. It should also be noted that as of writing, the only other streaming site where you could watch the film is Crunchyroll.

Gundam is a media franchise that follows an interstellar conflict involving mobile suits. The franchise includes the main series followed by numerous spin-offs, along with video games and models (dubbed Gunpla). Turn A is the fourth spin-off series and is set in the Correct Century timeline.
