Gamers who have been on the fence about the Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny remaster will be happy to know that Capcom has released a demo of the game.

Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny demo is now available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam). The demo will give players a sample of what to expect in the full game. To learn more about the demo, check out this short trailer:

Additionally, the remasters of Onimusha: Warlords and Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny are now on sale. Discounts range from up to 50% off and sales include individual games or both titles in a bundle.

The remaster of Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny launched back on May 23rd, 2025. The original Samurai’s Destiny launched on the PlayStation 2 back in 2002 and was highly praised. The story follows Jubei Yagyu, who is on a quest for revenge as he battles the demon army of Nobunaga Oda.

Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny remaster is only available digitally, but Limited Run Games will be launching a physical version for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. No launch date has been set, but it will be available sometime in 2026.
