Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance x Slipknot | Making of the Masks is the first of two promotional videos. It features Slipknot’s mask artist Jim Ojala showing the process of creating three different masks based on the demons in the game. The demons selected are Daemon, Gurulu, and Loup-Garou. Even though Slipknot is not in the game, the masks are crafted using common themes and visuals shared by the band and the game.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is also now available for pre-order. Fans have the choice between the Deluxe Edition or the Standard Edition. The Deluxe Edition will include the base game plus the 2 Sacred Treasure Sets Bonus along with five DLCs. The game is set to launch on June 14th for all major consoles and the PC.
The original Shin Megami Tensei V was released for the Nintendo Switch back in 2021 and was highly praised. It’s the fifth game in the mainline series. The story follows the protagonist, who gets caught in a war between angels and demons in an apocalyptic world called Da’at.
Vengeance will now be the second Shin Megami Tensei to launch in 2024, following Persona 3 Reload, which launched back in February. To get an idea about that game, check out our review.
